Poem for a Friend
If I had a voice for singing, I'd sing a song of a girl, who is smart and is kind of heart.
With the movement of her fingers, she tickles ivory keys, and makes works of art.
She is as modest as one can be, her own talents she is unable to see.
Her sense of humor is silly, and never fails to get a laugh out of me.
She is their when the days are darkest for her friends.
Her feelings and caring seem to know no ends.
If I had a voice for singing, I would sing the song of a girl that is fair and true.
I am sure that you know of her, because that girl happens to be you.

Many ways I have been touched by this poem. Your little gift gives me a reason to continue to work harder and reach my goals. These words are a part of me as you are in my life. Thank you Veronica.
